What happened to Fall?!

Right now I am sitting on my couch watching it snow outside. That is right. SNOW. Seriously?!

On another note...I went out last night. WHOO HOO!

Of course, with any Knottygirl outing there is a rant. Here goes...

So I met up with some friends of friends of friends. Very random girls who I don't really know, but had a good time anyway. Since its close to Halloween there were quite a few people dressed up.

Now here is my ONE problem with Halloween. Why is that some girls feel that Halloween is a great excuse to dress up in practically nothing and call it a costume? There were TONS of girls walking around in some type of bra top, fishnet stockings, a pair of short underwear type shorts and of course the required hooker shoes and boa. That is SO not a costume kids.

Dress up like a banana or something. Now that is a costume. :)

Attention span of a 4 year old...

I have no idea how people knit large projects like sweaters and such.

I can barely get through a scarf, forget mittens and socks! I am trying my hand at socks, but so far I have cuff after working on it for two weeks. Yes, one cuff. Blah.

So I decided to make a scarf that I found on the Knitty.com.

I found the yarn at my local yarn store and I got to town. After two nights of knitting (and fixing mistakes) I have this!



Its not much, but its mine. :) Plus, why do I suck as a photographer? I can't get a clear photo for anything. I think my camera has it in for me.

On another note! I'm still adjusting to Boston. Apparently God knew that I was starting this whole public transportation thing and is testing me with the weather that we have been experiencing lately. Seriously? How am I going to do this in the winter?! Blah. I need a driver.

that I can walk my dog from my apartment window? I think that might be animal abuse. Actually I am sure it probably is.

Its cold, raining, and Korky ate cheese today. Its been a long day out in the rain with the cutie thats constipated.

Rain, Rain Go Away...

It has been raining for the past week in Boston. Now normally I wouldn't be so pissed off at the weather but I walk to work now. Did ya hear that? Rain and walking to work. Not a good combination.

SO I pulled the ultimate lazy moment...I drove to work. Its 2.1 miles to work and I drove. I should hang my head in shame now. BUT WAIT! It gets worse...I had to pay $27 to park in the garage to drive to work. Ok, now I HAVE to hang my head in shame. Secretly though...I don't feel bad one bit. The last thing I want to do is walk to rain when everyone is busy building the second ark. Noah should have left instructions.

There is one good part to all this rain...cold weather. Which has made encouraged the Knotty Girl to actually start knitting. I am super excited. I am definately working on some new things and will be sure to post some pics tonight. Yippee for the Knotty Girl!

I’m officially in Boston! How exciting is that?!

My first outing in my new city was to a Vodka tasting with some of my coworkers. I never realized that I am actually not a fan of this stuff. Some of them smelled like they could take my fingernails off if I dipped my hand into it. Who wants to down gasoline into their body?!

I would write more but I’m exhausted from all the walking I have been doing. I even drove to work and payed the out of control parking garage fee because I just couldn't do it yesterday. Apparently I am very out of shape. HA!
